Wegovy® is a prescription GLP-1 medication for chronic weight management, and Pure MedSpa's medical weight loss program is built around its FDA-approved oral form: a tablet you take once a day rather than an injection you give yourself. It is prescription-only, which means it is available to you only after a medical provider evaluates your health history and determines it is appropriate for you. Your provider will explain how the medication works, how it is taken, and its known side effects during your consultation.

A pill. Our program uses the oral form of Wegovy®, taken once daily at home. There is no weekly self-injection, no needles, no sharps disposal, and nothing to keep refrigerated in the way injectable GLP-1s often require. For many patients that is the reason they are willing to start medical weight loss at all. If a daily oral tablet does not fit how you live, that is worth raising during your consultation.

FDA-approved. Pure MedSpa prescribes the FDA-approved Wegovy® pill, and we do not prescribe compounded or non-FDA-approved semaglutide. Compounded versions are made by compounding pharmacies and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality the way an approved product is. Choosing the approved medication is a deliberate clinical decision by our Medical Director, not a pricing decision.

The initial Medical Weight Loss Consultation is $150 for non-members and $99 for Pure members. A $50 deposit is collected when you book, and that deposit is applied toward your consultation total rather than charged on top of it. The remaining balance is collected according to your final consultation rate, so a non-member pays $100 at the visit and a Pure member pays $49. Medication and pharmacy costs are separate and are not included in the consultation price.

No. The consultation fee covers your provider's time, the medical evaluation, and your personalized treatment plan. It does not include medication. If your provider prescribes the Wegovy® pill, the prescription is sent to the pharmacy you choose, and the pharmacy bills you separately. Medication pricing varies by dose, pharmacy, and insurance coverage, and coverage for weight-management medication differs widely between plans, so we cannot quote it in advance.

No. Booking a consultation is not the same as being prescribed medication, and no one is guaranteed a prescription. Your provider evaluates your medical history, current medications, and health conditions, and then determines whether the Wegovy® pill is appropriate for you. Treatment eligibility varies from person to person, and there are conditions and medication combinations that make this treatment unsuitable. Some patients leave with a prescription plan and some leave with a plan that does not involve medication at all.

Yes. Both the initial consultation and ongoing Weight Loss Follow-Up visits are conducted by video with a Pure MedSpa medical provider. You do not need to drive to our Woodinville office, which is why patients across Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, Duvall, and the greater Eastside choose this format. You will need a private space, a device with a camera, and a reliable connection. Virtual visits are available to patients located in Washington State at the time of the appointment.

From your own pharmacy. When your provider prescribes the Wegovy® pill, it is sent to the pharmacy you prefer, and you pick it up or have it shipped according to that pharmacy's process. Pure MedSpa does not dispense, stock, supply, or sell weight-loss medication. Keeping the prescription with a licensed pharmacy also means your pharmacist reviews your full medication list, which is an additional layer of safety.

Your provider reviews your medical history, current medications and supplements, weight-loss goals, and what you have already tried. From there the conversation moves to whether the medication is appropriate for you, how it works, what side effects to expect, and what a realistic plan looks like. You will have time to ask about cost, monitoring, and what happens if you decide to stop. Most patients find the visit is less about being sold something and more about getting a clear medical answer.

Follow-up cadence is individualized rather than fixed, because it depends on your plan, how you are responding, and whether anything needs to change. Patients starting a new medication are typically seen more frequently at first and less often once things are stable. Your provider will recommend a schedule at the end of your initial consultation and adjust it as your care continues. Follow-ups are booked as the separate Weight Loss Follow-Up service.

A Weight Loss Follow-Up visit is $99 for non-members and $75 for Pure members. Follow-ups are for existing weight-loss patients and are used for ongoing monitoring, reviewing how you are responding to the medication, discussing side effects and adjustments, and handling prescription needs when medically appropriate. As with the initial consultation, medication and pharmacy charges are separate from the visit fee.

Yes. Pure members pay $99 for the initial Medical Weight Loss Consultation instead of $150, and $75 for each Weight Loss Follow-Up instead of $99. Membership provides the reduced visit rate while the membership is active and in good standing. You do not need to be a member to book a medical weight loss consultation.

No. Membership credit is not applied to medical weight loss consultations or follow-up visits. What your membership provides for this service is the reduced member rate, $99 for the initial consultation and $75 for follow-ups, rather than credit toward the visit. No. Medical weight loss consultations are open to new patients as well as existing Pure MedSpa clients. If this is your first visit with us, the initial consultation is where your provider gathers the history needed to evaluate your situation, so nothing else is required beforehand. Existing clients book the same initial consultation for their first weight-loss visit, since weight-management care requires its own medical evaluation.

Yes, within Washington. Pure MedSpa is based in Woodinville, WA, and because these visits are virtual, patients throughout the Eastside and the wider state can be seen without traveling to our office. Our providers are licensed in Washington State, so you need to be physically located in Washington at the time of your appointment.
