Common questions about this treatment

What is a Botox® lip flip?

A Botox® lip flip uses small amounts of Botox® around the upper lip to relax the muscle and help the lip gently roll outward. It does not add volume like filler.

Is a lip flip the same as lip filler?

No. A lip flip uses Botox® to subtly change the way the upper lip rests. Lip filler adds volume and structure. They are different treatments.

How long does a Botox® lip flip last?

A lip flip often lasts around 6-10 weeks, though this varies by person and dose.

Will a lip flip make my lips bigger?

It can make the upper lip look slightly more visible, but it does not physically add volume. If you want fuller lips, filler may be more appropriate.

Can a lip flip affect my smile or drinking from a straw?

Because the treatment relaxes muscles around the mouth, some clients may notice temporary changes with certain movements. Proper dosing helps reduce this risk.
